AAAN Statement (A sentence or two of why you are involved in AAAN services and programs and what the department means to you in assisting in your success and collegiate experience

I am involved at AAAN because of my advisor. He showed me that AAAN is a resource for not only academic guidance, but also a way to connect with other African American students and organizations on campus and to also gain information about how to manage life while in college. I have also seen first-hand how AAAN assists students from being a past student intern for the office.
